In May of 1984 Bob and Betty Knoph had a dream. To open the largest gift shop in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula! With the help of their daughter Kathy, son Terry, and some sweat equity from there other three daughters Debbie, Laurie, and Patti, they were able to make this dream come true. Thirty six years later, Treasure City still remains a landmark for locals and tourists alike in Manistique, Michigan.
